It is that time of the year when we are looking for interesting meals to make for our family and friends especially when they visit. Just follow this easy to prepare, ready in no time easy fried rice. And I was glad you did. It is amazingly tasty and your family and friends adore you for this.
Ingredients:
Basmati rice-2&1/2 cups
Boneless chicken - 2 pieces
■ Salt-1 teaspoon
Soy sauce-1 teaspoon • Eggs-3
Peppercorn to taste
Spring onion-1/2 cup
Green peas-1/2 cup
Onion-1 large, chopped
■ Garlic-4 cloves, finely chopped
⚫ Carrots-3/4 cup
Chilli pepper to taste
Black pepper to taste
Cooking oil-4 to 5 tablespoons
• Dark soy sauce - 1&1/2 tablespoons
Sesame oil-2 teaspoons
Instructions:
1. Cut the chicken into cubes and transfer into a bowl.
2. Add one teaspoon of salt.
3. And one teaspoon of dark soy sauce.
4. Mix well to combine the set aside for 10 minutes.
5. Heat up 1 tablespoon of oil. Add the eggs and season with some salt and pepper to taste.
6. Fry then transfer into a bowl.
7. Add about 3 tablespoons of oil into the pan on medium high heat, when hot, add the chicken.
8. Fry until chicken is cooked through. About 3 to 4 minutes. 9. Add the onion and finely chopped garlic. Fry until onion softens a bit
10. Add some pepper to taste and mix it in.
11. Add the chopped carrots. Fry for about 2 minutes 12. Add the rice and fry until it's hot.Add the soy sauce and sesame oil. You can use more or less soy sauce Add the spring/green onion. Add the eggs and peas, and fry for about a
minute. Take it off the heat and serve.
